Dr. Curtis Palmore started his career as an educator in New York City through Teach for America in 1995. After teaching for a decade, he became an assistant principal at the Beginning with Children Charter School in Brooklyn, New York. Next, he took on the role of Head of School at Harlem Day Charter School and led a school turnaround effort with Democracy Prep Public Schools. He later was the Founding Principal at Exceed Charter School, a turnaround school in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn. In his first two years as principal there, his team increased academic student performance and created a learning environment that helped students thrive.

Dr. Palmore also served as the Chief Executive Officer at Community Charter School of Paterson (CCSP) in New Jersey. He led strategic initiatives including content, assessment and staffing improvements. Under his leadership, CCSP received two successful full 5-year charter renewals, expanded and opened a new middle school and gymnasium, and developed a number of academic and school-based programs. Dr. Palmore currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of United Charter High Schools (formerly known as New Visions Charter High Schools), which is the largest charter high school network in New York City.

Dr. Palmore holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Morgan State University. He undertook graduate studies at Fordham University and earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University. He also received his doctoral degree in educational leadership at the University of Pennsylvania. He is affiliated with a number of professional and social organizations, including Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Bob Hiller has twenty-two years of experience in the field of education, thirteen of which have been in leadership roles. He believes leadership is about service, listening, and building the capacity of others. Bob leverages his coaching skills as a leadership tool to develop individual, team, and organizational capacity. For the past thirteen years, Bob has had the privilege of playing a critical role in leading New Visions Charter High School for Advanced Math & Science – four of those years as the founding Assistant Principal, and the last nine years as the Principal. He is excited to use his leadership skills in his new role as the Chief Academic Officer for United Charter High Schools. Bob Hiller holds a BS in Mathematics from Adelphi University, a MA in Elementary Education from Adelphi University, and a MSEd in Leadership of Mathematics Education from Bank Street College.

Tracy began her career by joining the ranks of the Executive Training Program at Saks Fifth Avenue. After successfully completing the program, she spent 4 years as a buyer honing both her buying, planning, and financial skills for various divisions within the Saks organization. Her career then progressed to Bloomingdales whereas the buyer for the Men’s Divisions she superseded the company’s profitability expectations to win the prestigious “Buyer of the Year” Award.

Later she attended the International University of Monaco where she earned her MBA with a concentration in Corporate Finance. On her return to the U.S, Tracy worked for several private companies in a financial and analytical capacity. It was at companies like Michael Kors as a Finance & Strategic Partner she further adapted her financial skills to lead a team of four to accomplish what is still to date retails most successive IPO which garnered global brand recognition. In 2014, Tracy joined the Opening Ceremony Team and partnered with Private Equity Group Berkshire Partners to build financial processes that streamlined the company’s inventory levels world-wide. During her tenure ship with the company, they doubled their revenues, and mitigated excess inventory by lowering it more than 75%. At Coach/Stuart Weitzman she oversaw the North America region growing their sales by 50% while improving profitability year over year by 7%.

After completing her Master’s in Public Policy from the esteemed University of Chicago, Harris School of Public Policy she pivoted to the nonprofit sector where she worked for PENCIL as their Vice President of Finance. At PENCIL she has built robust financial systems and successfully led the organization through post pandemic financial terrain. At United Charter Schools Tracy is excited to merge her finance skill sets with education to positively impact NYC students and effect operational change.
