Your Gift Creates Opportunities —Today and for Generations to Come

New York City is filled with students who have extraordinary potential & talent. At United Charter High Schools, we envision a city where every student’s opportunities truly match their aspirations.

Across our network, we are committed to providing high-quality academic experiences, strong school communities, and real-world pathways that prepare students for college, career, and life beyond graduation.

Through meaningful partnerships, work-based learning, mentorship, internships, and enrichment opportunities, we help open doors for students—connecting classroom learning to the futures they are working toward.

Your support makes these opportunities possible. Together, we can ensure every UCHS scholar has access to the resources, experiences, and support they need to thrive.

Thank you for investing in our students and our mission.

Academic
Programs

Two students wearing gloves and aprons examine a specimen in a tray during a science class in a classroom setting.

At United Charter High Schools, we create an environment where students grow with confidence, purpose, and direction. With a 95% graduation rate, we offer both Advanced Math & Science pathways and strong Humanities programs. Our STEAM-focused curriculum encourages curiosity and problem-solving, with career pathways in Computer Science, Biomedical Science, Engineering, and Hospitality, all supported by built-in college and career preparation.

HBCU
Tour

Two students wearing safety glasses observe a blue-lit electrophoresis gel in a classroom lab setting, with science equipment and diagrams visible in the background.

Each spring, UCHS offers a transformative college tour experience intentionally designed to expand access, exposure, and opportunity to HBCUs for students across our entire network. This initiative directly reflects our broader mission of preparing students for college, careers, and civic life. To prepare, students participate in engaging all-day workshops covering HBCU history, Black history, financial literacy, mental health, and self-advocacy.

Sports & Extracurricular Programs

A football player in a white "Sharks" uniform runs with the ball while being pursued by a player in a yellow and black uniform numbered 3.
Athletics play a vital role in our students’ growth and personal development. As proud participants in the PSAL (Public Schools Athletic League), we offer a wide range of competitive sports that build teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills in every student. Our student-athletes consistently thrive both on and off the field, successfully balancing academic achievement with athletic excellence and personal growth.
