Dear AMS III Caregivers and Students,

Welcome to the 2025–26 school year! We are excited to begin what promises to be our best year yet — and we will do it together.

United Charter High School for Advanced Math and Science III was founded in 2013 with a vision to provide a world-class education for the communities of South and Central Brooklyn and South Queens. We believe that within a close-knit community of caring, highly trained adults, students can transform dreams into goals and discover meaningful college and career pathways.

To support this vision, we partner with several corporations that provide internships and work-based learning opportunities, giving our students experiences beyond the classroom. Students also have access to our Engineering Academy, which offers courses in Computing, Biomedical Science, and Engineering. This year, we are excited to introduce a student government, ensuring that student voice remains central to our school’s decision-making and learning experiences.

At AMS III, our curriculum is aligned not only with New York State content standards but also with Culturally Responsive Learning Standards. This commitment helps us honor the history, culture, knowledge, and diversity that our students, staff, and families bring to our community each day. We strive to design everything — from literary choices and project-based learning to daily advisories, celebrations, and post-secondary planning — so that every student experiences a personalized and engaging education.

We also provide strong social-emotional support through our trained advisors and school culture team. Each student is programmed for an Advanced Regents diploma, giving them access to at least three Advanced Placement courses and an expanding number of dual-credit opportunities by senior year. Everything we do at AMS III is with your future in mind.

I am looking forward to a joyful, productive, and successful school year together.
