Earlier this year, HUM students participated in their first-ever Model United Nations conference in New York City, including sessions hosted at the United Nations. Representing Bhutan, students debated global issues including human rights, economic development, and international security alongside peers from around the world. The students earned multiple honors for their performance, including awards for public speaking, negotiation, leadership, and position papers.
