PRINCIPAL

Bridget Lopez

Dear AMS II Families and Students,
It is with great joy and excitement that I welcome the Classes of 2026, 2027, 2028, and 2029 to the 2025–2026 school year at AMS II! This year is especially meaningful to me as I begin my first year as Principal. While this is a new role, I am no stranger to our community. I have proudly served as an Assistant Principal here for the past seven years, and I have been part of AMS II since its founding days – 13 years in total. Having grown alongside this school, I am honored to now lead us into our next chapter.

We are coming off an incredible year, ending with a 98% graduation rate and a 91% attendance rate. These accomplishments are a testament to the hard work of our students, staff, and families. As we look ahead, we will continue to focus on our core goals of attendance, credit accumulation, and college and career readiness benchmarks. At AMS II, we believe every student has a place in our community, and we remain committed to developing a plan for each student to successfully transition into their post-secondary path whether college, career, or both.

This year, our Triangle of Success will be built around three key pillars:

  • Family Engagement & Recruitment – strengthening the partnership between school and home while continuing to grow our AMS II community.
  • Post-Secondary Success – setting grade-specific milestones to prepare students for their futures.
  • Teaching & Learning – with a continued emphasis on literacy across all subjects

Lastly with your partnership, I know this year will bring even more milestones, celebrations, and successes. AMS II is more than a school; it’s a community of learners, families, and educators working together to achieve excellence. Let’s make 2025–2026 our strongest year yet.

Sincerely,

Bridget Lopez

Principal of AMS II
