Thanks to powerful partnerships with industry-leading organizations, United Charter High School for Advanced Math & Sciences (AMS) IV students are gaining real-world experience, professional connections, and career pathways that set them apart, both during high school and long after graduation.
At the heart of this work is the NAF Academy of Information Technology, a national network connecting schools with business and community leaders to ensure students are college, career, and future ready. Through this partnership, AMS IV students have access to an in-school IT Academy that bridges rigorous academics with the demands of today’s tech-driven workforce.
For students ready to go further, CareerWise New York offers a three-year youth apprenticeship program that places students in authentic workplace environments while they’re still in high school. After completing career exploration coursework, students build professional skills and real industry experience while in the field — the kind that stands out on college applications and resumes alike.
AMS IV’s partnership with the Amazon Future Engineer program opens even more doors for students passionate about computer science, offering coding resources, internship opportunities, and scholarship pathways that expand what’s possible after graduation.
United Charter High Schools is committed to ensuring that every student leaves high school with the competency, skills, and experience to prepare them for the future.
